Did you try poking holes in the Vista firewall to let your devices connect? I had issues till I did that as well. Thes are the holes I allowed:

TCP 990 - 999 Inbound Internet
TCP 5678 - 5679 Both Internet
UDP 5721 Outbound Internet
TCP 26675 Inbound Internet
